3 Simple Steps to Tap Into Your Untapped Potential

A source of regret later in life is untapped potential.

It’s knowing, deep down, that you’re capable of more but that you never even approached the limits of what that could be.

It’s like driving a Ferrari like it’s a Camry.

As we age, we think it’s time to slow down and enjoy, and in part, that’s true but misses a significant part of the equation.

We need to slow down on what no longer lights us up while simultaneously pushing the gas on what does.

Here are 3 simple steps to tap into your untapped potential:

Whispers:

In those rare moments of stillness and silence, what whispers to you? Is it sitting down to write, learning an instrument, philanthropy, or launching a business?

Write them down, take what’s inside, and bring it out.

Wishes:

What do you wish were different? What do you wish you could do? Where do you find yourself saying, “I wish I…” or “If only I had…”.

Write your wishes down.

Fear:

Capture your fears, write them down, and again, bring what is inside the outside.
