I’m fortunate. My prison experience provided me with a perspective on freedom not many know. When you lose your freedom, you truly understand what freedom means and how it shows up in your life — and to increase it.
Freedom runs both wide and deep, and with practice, you can increase the breadth and depth of your personal freedom.

Here are 3 tips you can implement today to increase your personal freedom:
Accept Reality: You must accept what has happened and where you are. No amount of wishing is going to change it. No matter how hard you try.
When you accept reality, you begin the process of owning your story and, in turn — changing how the story ends. You step out of the raging river. You seize personal agency over your life.
It doesn’t always feel good to do this. In fact, it can suck.
