AI Is Decimating Self-Trust And Genuine Human Communication
SkyNet became aware today (8.29) at 2:14 EST, 1997.
Terminator 2 was a great movie, great concept, and it oddly coincides with a thought that popped into my head this morning:
“Slow the f-ck down.”
Actually, it was more of a feeling than a thought.
It was one of those feelings that emanated from beyond the superficial.
It came from the deep well of wisdom and knowing inside all of us that deserves to be listened to, but far too often we ignore.
All because it’s not always logical.
Why did this feeling come to me?
I’ve found myself moving very quickly, trying to be as efficient as possible in my business and in life, and feeling like I’m in a rushing river after a storm.
In pursuit of quickness and efficiency, I’ve been leveraging AI, like many of us, to accomplish as much as possible.
We’re an externally focused society.
Job titles, bank accounts, the clothes we wear, the cars we drive, likes, comments, viral posts, the list is endless.
We’re so conditioned to chase, chase, chase, and accomplishment, not effort, is celebrated.
