Are You Living or Merely Existing? The Pitfalls of Following the Safe Life Blueprint

The safe life blueprint is merely an illusion of comfort.

What is the safe life blueprint?

It varies from person to person depending on family, friends, and perceptions of societal pressures.

But a relatively common safe blueprint looks like this:

✔️ Good school
✔️ Good job
✔️ Nice home in a good neighborhood
✔️ Buy a good car
✔️ 2 vacations a year
✔️ Retire: Then you can do the things you want to do — you’ve “earned” it.

It’s only safe because it’s acceptable.

Here’s what happens when you follow the safe life blueprint:

🛑 You feel empty
🛑 You feel disconnected
🛑 You’re existing but not living
🛑 You fear not fulfilling why you’re here
🛑 You fear that your life has no meaning
🛑 You fear not living up to your full potential
🛑 Your life may be safe, but it’s far from comfortable
🛑 You know there’s more, but you don’t know how to move forward
