Beyond the Quest for Purpose: How to Intentionally Craft a Purposeful Life

The pressure of purpose.

There’s lots of pressure to find one’s purpose.

Purpose isn’t a diamond; it’s not formed from pressure.

The more pressure we put on ourselves to find it, the less likely we are to find it.

Purpose is a seed; it must be nurtured and cultivated.

3 ways to do this:

1.Live Intentionally.

We must understand why we take the actions we take instead of mindlessly performing them.

When we become intentional about our actions, we break free from automatic pilot, and our life becomes “On Purpose.”

2. Find Our Fears.

“What we fear doing most is usually what we most need to do.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

We must identify, understand, and take meaningful actions toward what we fear.

When we move through fear, we create opportunity and possibility; we create room for purpose to blossom.

3. Our Deepest Wounds.

Our deepest wounds, our most significant pain, contain the seeds of our life’s calling and purpose.
