Here Are The Hidden Trade-Offs in Our Pursuit of Success

What’s the exchange rate of our choices and, ultimately, our lives?

What does that promotion we’ve been fighting for actually mean?

More money, but less time with family and doing activities that bring you joy?

More professional status, but more grey hairs?

Saying “yes” to something shuts the door on something else.

When making massive decisions, it’s crucial to understand what you’re shutting the door on.

Are we making choices that will result in a meaningful ROI or merely chasing short-term dopamine highs?

Are we sacrificing our long-term inner peace and emotional freedom for the short-term avoidance of pain or the short-term high of external acquisition?

My memoir, “Blank Canvas, How I Reinvented My Life After Prison” is available on Amazon.

“Blank Canvas” is for anyone trapped in prison cells of unworthiness, inadequacy, shame, regret, and fear who want to free themselves so they can reinvent their lives with courage, purpose, meaning, freedom, and peace.

James Altucher, best-selling author of Skip the Line, Choose Yourself and Reinvent Yourself had this to say about “Blank Canvas.”
