How I Conduct a Choice Audit to Create The Life I Desire

Some practical thoughts around my choices:

My life is a product of my choices.

What kind of life do I want to create?

Are the choices I’m currently making in alignment with what I say I want to create?

Scenario 1:

No — OK.

Identify: What are some recent examples of choices I’ve made that aren’t in alignment? I want to ensure I’m not living in a story and that there’s actual evidence.

Acceptance: I accept my choices and consequences with grace and compassion. Self-flagellation, guilt, and shame don’t move the needle forward.

Examine: Why do I think I made those choices? What’s behind those choices? Don’t settle for the 1st answer; dig until I hit the truth.

Clarity: Now that I’ve uncovered the truth, what strategy can I implement to make empowering choices in the future?

Connection: What’s on the other side of empowering choices? How I want to live my life.

How will I feel? Elated, expansive, joyful, a deep sense of meaning, fulfillment, and self-trust. Sit in these emotions and feel them in my body.
