Revealing Your True Self: The Key to Personal and Emotional Freedom

There comes a point in our childhood where we mistake a belief for truth, and we set ourselves down a new path, a path that takes us further away from ourselves.
We then spend the majority of our lives trying to find our old path but do anything and everything other than what we need to do to reconnect with our original path.
The belief we falsely believe as truth is that who we are, our true nature is wrong.
It can be a passing comment from family, friends, or teachers or an accumulation of comments, but all we know is we were rejected for being ourselves.
We became “wrong.”
So, we begin to chase what we believe is right.
We chase acceptance in what we believe others want to see in us, and what we think will garner the acceptance we desperately desire.
Our chase is rooted in beliefs and the stories we make up by observing what’s around us; we again mistake beliefs for the truth, which becomes our life.
We receive acceptance for behaving a certain way, getting good grades, always smiling, looking a certain way, being funny, being intelligent…
