Stop Focusing on the Destination Before You Even Take Your 1st Step

Reinvention Pitfall #1

Focusing on the end of the road before you even take your first step.

When you focus on the end of the road:

  • You overwhelm yourself with details.
  • You overwhelm yourself with all the steps.
  • You overwhelm yourself with what you don’t know.

It’s enough to keep you stuck in your status quo, which is woefully unfulfilling.

➡️ Here’s a Reinvention Reframe to escape this pitfall so you can create your extraordinary second half:

When you drive at night, you can’t see your final destination.

The road is illuminated as you move forward, and eventually, you reach your destination.

Your reinvention is the same.

Focus on what’s in front of you, and your next steps will be illuminated as you move forward.

Eventually, you’ll reach your destination.
