The Greatest Mentor You Could Ever Ask For is All Around You
The universe’s natural state is evolution.
It never stops expanding.
The ocean never stops moving.
Creatures are born, and creatures die.
The sky above is an ever-evolving tapestry.
Stars are born and die over millions or even billions of years.
An acorn grows into a life-giving oak, which, even in death, still provides life through the nutrients of decay.
All around us is change and evolution.
It’s the natural state of the universe, but how often do we evolve with it?
Yes, our physical bodies change, wither and die.
But how often do our minds, our beliefs, our occupation, our identity, our habits, and our routines remain static?
How often do we violate the dynamic nature of the universe?
Humans aren’t meant to be static; we’re meant to be dynamic, ever-changing, and ever-evolving.
We’re designed for reinvention.
If we weren’t, we’d still be painting the inside caves and would never know the awe and wonder of standing before Monet’s Water Lillies or Pollock’s One: Number 31, 1950.
