Why You Need to Understand What Version of Yourself You’re Nurturing
What version of yourself are you nurturing?
Think about when you’ve felt your absolute best, when all the tumblers are aligned, and you feel like you’re on top of a mountain or floating.
Think about how you feel when you’re scrolling endlessly through social media, consuming massive amounts of news/gossip, or watching so much Netflix or porn that you feel numb.
We operate from 2 versions of ourselves; one is our “Self,” and the other is our “self.”
If you were to guess, which version would you associate with the feeling of standing atop a mountain or floating through the air?
Your higher Self.
Now, how much time do you invest in your Self?
How much time do you give away to your self?
If you’re woefully unfulfilled, feel like you have no command over your time, and feel that your life lacks purpose and meaning, you’re probably running at a ratio of 90/10 (self/Self).
If you want to transform your second half into a life you’re proud of, you must do the work to shift the paradigm.
And I don’t mean shifting overnight to 90/10 (Self/self).
